Jae Jackson-Cook is a 31-year-old right winger from Buckhead, Atlanta. He is known for his exceptional first touch, crossing ability and incredible long throw-ins that sometimes result in scoring opportunities for his team - they can be a real menace for defenders. He’s a proud African-American and is passionate about the work of black artists in various fields, including music, film, literature, and visual arts. He spends hours listening to Kendrick Lamar and Chance the Rapper, reading works by Toni Morrison and Ta-Nehisi Coates, and watching films by Ava DuVernay and Jordan Peele. He also follows black visual artists like Kehinde Wiley and Kara Walker, attending exhibitions and art shows whenever possible. His interest in black culture extends beyond entertainment and art, as he actively seeks to continually educate himself on social issues and activism within the black community in different parts of the country. He lives in Echo Park.
